User Management
You can now set up different login names under your vendor account. We will be adding feature flags to allow you to restrict different logins to different features in the Developer’s Control Panel. Only the Master Login account will be able to add, edit or delete user logins. The Master Login will always have full permission and cannot be restricted.
- Login Name – This is the login name set up by the owner of this account. This is the name used to login to the secure Developer’s Control Panel. Minimum character length is 4. Login Names cannot be only numbers. Please Note: Your vendor ID will always work for your Master Login, even if Master Login is changed to a login name.
- Password – This is the password set up by the owner of this account. This is the password used to login to the secure Developer’s Control Panel. Minimum character length is 6.
- Email Address – This is the User’s email address as set up by the owner of this account. This is the email address the system will use to send copies of the customer’s product notification email when requested.
- User Name – This is the real name of the user for this login.
- Allow Test Orders – Allows user to place test orders.
- Allow Changes – Allows user to add/edit products, add/edit notification emails, add/edit pricing tiers, upload/download files, add/edit discount schemes, add/edit registration key tables, add/edit vendor splits, add/remove affiliates, edit affiliate percentages and update account information. Leaving this unchecked will allow user to view information only.
- Allow Resend – Allows user to generate or reset download passwords with the Download Password Manager and resend customer email notifications or request refunds from the Customer Search report.
- Edit User – Only when logged in with the Master Login will you be able to edit users. Editing uses same fields as above.
- Delete User – Only when logged in with the Master Login will you be able to delete users. The Master Login account can never be deleted.
