When the data is displayed on the screen I don’t see a linefeed at the end of each record. Why?
That’s a browser issue, however keep in mind that looks can be deceiving. We are putting a linefeed/carriage return at the end of each record but HTML does not handle these, thus the records do not display properly in your browser. Just save the page to disk as a text file and presto – the data appears with linefeeds (do not use a .txt extension because Netscape will try to “format” it for you).
