Why Do My Order Notifications Contain Invalid Or Garbage Characters

Our entire order system uses UTF-8 encoding in order to facilitate acceptance of various foreign languages. In order to view the foreign characters (umlauts, etc.), your mail client must support UTF-8.

Mozilla Mail and Mozilla Thunderbird (both free) include UTF-8 support by default. Most up-to-date commercial clients should support UTF-8, but we have not tested any others at this point.
