This list can be updated and edited by you in the Developer&#8217;s Information Center. A key is pulled with each completed order and sent to the customer. The key is marked as used and the next key in the list is sent to the next customer.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin: 10px;\">Key generated on-the-fly with Armadillo or other integrated key generator.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<ul style=\"margin: 10px 0px;\">\nJuly 2005 &#8211; ExeShield support added, please <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmtmicro.com\/contact\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">contact us<\/a> for details.\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"margin: 10px 0px;\">\nAugust 2007 &#8211; Winlicense support added, please <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmtmicro.com\/contact\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">contact us<\/a> for details.\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"margin: 10px 0px;\">\nYou can set up your armadillo key generator in realtime! Start the string by letting our servers know this is an armadillo key generator. Next inset the signature level preceded by a &#8216;\/&#8217;. Then include the ##registername## token. This will insert the customers first and last name if the registername field is left blank on the order form. Finally, include the encryption key.\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"margin: 10px 0px;\">Like this:<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"margin: 10px 0px;\">armadillo \/1 ##registername## thisismyencryptiontemplate<\/ul>\n<\/ol>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"margin: 10px 0px;\"><b>IMPORTANT:<\/b> If your &#8220;encryption template&#8221; contains spaces, the string must be in quotes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 10px;\"><b>Example:<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0px;\"><b>armadillo \/1 ##registername## &#8220;my encryption template&#8221;<\/b><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<ol>\n<ul style=\"margin: 10px 0px;\"><b>ShortV3 Key Instructions<\/b><\/ul>\n<ul style=\"margin: 10px 0px;\">In order to have the system generate ShortV3 keys, you must add 20 to the signature level. For example, if your signature level is 10 and you have set your project in Armadillo to create ShortV3 keys only, the string would be:<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"margin: 10px 0px;\">armadillo \/30 ##registername## thisismyencryptiontemplate<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"margin: 10px 0px;\">If you are creating standard v3 keys, simply add 10 to the signature level in your key generation string.<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"margin: 10px 0px;\"><b>The Armadillo key generator must use the Windows-1252 character set.<\/b><\/ul>\n<ul style=\"margin: 10px 0px;\">If you need help setting up your armadillo key generator, please <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmtmicro.com\/contact\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">contact us<\/a>.<\/ul>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin: 10px;\">Key generated on-the-fly with an <a href=\"https:\/\/help.bmtmicro.com\/vendors\/VendorDocs\/request.xml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">XML request<\/a> sent to your server producing a specific <a href=\"https:\/\/help.bmtmicro.com\/vendors\/VendorDocs\/response_xml.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">XML Response<\/a> back to our server.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<ul style=\"margin: 10px 0px;\">Once an order is completed, we can post an XML stream with complete customer information to your server and wait for a specific XML (POST) response. You would need to parse the XML into your CGI script and then format your response in XML. This needs to happen in real time as the customer&#8217;s product information email will not be sent until a response is received. All you need to do to get the XML data is to get the <b>input stream<\/b>&#8230;<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"margin: 10px 0px;\">A JAVA sample can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/help.bmtmicro.com\/vendors\/VendorDocs\/KeyGeneratorSample.java.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>, there is also a <a href=\"https:\/\/help.bmtmicro.com\/vendors\/example-php-to-parse-xml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PHP example<\/a>. Once you are ready to test this, enter the URL for your CGI in the Key Generator field under the Add\/Edit Product interface.
