How Do I Refresh My Browser Cache
Be sure to close the browser and exit all windows once you have cleared the cache.
Google Chrome
- To the right of the address bar, click on the 3 vertical dots.
- Click “Settings”.
- Scroll to the bottom and click “Advanced”.
- Click on “Clear browsing data”.
- Select your preferred time range and select “Clear data”.
Firefox
- To the right of the address bar, click the image with 3 vertical lines and one slanted line.
If the menu bar is hidden, pressAlt
to make it visible. - Click on “History”.
- Click “Clear Recent History”.
- Select all options that you would like to clear (make sure to leave “Cache” selected).
- Select “Clear Now”.
Microsoft Edge
- In the top right, click the Hub icon (looks like star with three horizontal lines).
- Click the History icon (looks like a clock), and then select “Clear all history”.
- Select “Browsing history”.
- Then select “Cookies and saved website data”.
- Select “Cached data and files”.
- Then click “Clear”.
Internet Explorer 11
- Select Tools > Safety > Delete browsing history….
If the menu bar is hidden, pressAlt
to make it visible. - Deselect Preserve Favorites website data, and select:

Temporary Internet files or Temporary Internet files and website files.
Cookies or Cookies and website data.
History. - Click “Delete”. You will see a confirmation at the bottom of the window when the process is complete.
Opera
- From the Opera menu, select “Settings”.
- Then select “Privacy & Security”.
- Select “Clear browsing data…”.
- In the dialog box that opens, from the “Obliterate the following items from:” drop-down menu, select The beginning of time.
- Select the following:

Browsing history.
Download history.
Cookies and other site data.
Cached images and files. - Click “Clear browsing data”.
Safari 8+
Enable the “Developer Menu” by selecting “Safari” > “Preferences” > “Advanced” > “Show Develop Menu”
- In the menu bar, select “Develop”.
- Select “Empty Caches”.
